Response to website info...

Hi Andy,
I agree with keeping the website something that is simple, which means it can be updated quickly too.
I spoke to Mark Beer from I.T yesterday about setting up a ucreative e-mail account, he said that shouldn't be a problem as long as the name is something easily distinguished so it can't be something like photography@ucreative.....etc



it would be good if we had a theme as a title, or perhaps we could simply have;

endofyear@ucreative.ac.uk   (let me know what you think?)


also if we set a web hosting account with streamline.net (who i use for my own site) then we can do a 3 months free trial (there is a domain name registration fee of a around £11)

Sorry I've got mental block, what is the purpose of setting up the group email?

Streamline.net sounds good then, and as you say domains are as cheap as anything.

A theme/name is important to decide by next week, I'm sure that there will be enough photography students together during next visual theory with Adrian to make a decision, though someone will need to raise this issue (I'm not in Adrian's VT).

it takes 2 days to activate, but on thursday i'll give you the account details so you can log on to, and we can work out a layout and by Friday it should be up and running.

hi the meeting today is cancelled, but i'm in college still, so if you still want to meet up to discuss things i'll be around the pma baseroom. the meetings are held in E01.C .

the meeting should be tomorrow if there is enough ppl that can make it.
